What if this has always been the plan? What if whoever controls both the US and Israel (via their presidents and political structures) knew this would fail and the plan is to destroy the global economy, start a global famine, and depopulate humanity? I have the feeling that there is something more to this picture than we are aware of.

That’s my concern - if you take every inept choice over the last year - it all combines to seem very purposeful

It's so humiliating to this narcissistic, bully president that I sincerely think he won't back down. He has sent Marines and he'll try boots on the ground to control the Hormuz Strait and to the poor soldiers, they are sent to death and injuries that will cripple their lives. It's a shame. They are still underestimating the iraniens.

What is my biggest fear is that he'll be desperate to win and may resolve to tactical nuke to destroy Iran. What happen next is an escalation and very scary.

Yup. “We are the most moral people on earth, but to preserve our purity we must murder innocents and engage in war crimes, otherwise evil will be rewarded. QED”

Remember nearly ten years ago, he asked the question “If you have them, why not use them? And if you won’t use them, why have them?”

My worry is that the plans for the Marines will be so epically stupid that they'll take such severe casualties that he will reach for a tactical nuke. Then all bets are off.

I’m expecting Caine to be fired in the next week or two. He was good in last week’s press conference: he began by acknowledging the casualties, then a bit later expressed respect for his adversary. Yesterday, he acknowledged the KIAs but hedged with regard to non-fatal casualties, and he was much more rah-rah than before. He may not be at heart a MAGA dévot and almost certainly will be given troublesome orders which he may refuse. I wonder what Mike Flynn is up to these days …

Robert: I am always stunned recalling Heydrich (I believe it was he) addressing the SS commiserating that Germans would never be able to honor their heroism “because it’s not easy walking down a line of men shooting each in the back of the neck”

This is also my fear.

"...two choices, to declare victory and walk away, a humiliated laughingstock, or to double down, again and again." There's a third choice. I'm looking for how to float it.

How about talking about getting him out of government? He doesn't relish the job – he can’t even stay awake for it, where his even maintaining the illusion of competence is out the window. But what he wants is riches, so we would need to make it worthwhile to him to fire all his appointees and resign. We’d let him keep all his grift and give him freedom from prosecution, but then what? What reward could we come up with? Do we care if he becomes the richest person in the world? Let him develop a desert somewhere. Just remove him from having political power.

Macron is itching to join the war, because he works for the Rothschilds. Starmer is also itching to join the war, because he works for Mi6. The problem with this, however, is that the populations of France and the UK are opposed. So these globalist leaders participate in false flag attacks on their own assets, while trying to provoke a response from Iran which will trigger Article 5 of the NATO treaty. Starmer claims the UK is staying out of the war, while allowing America to bomb Iran from its RAF bases makes it a beligerent. Macron sends a carrier group to try and open the Straits of Hormuz. It's only a matter of time until there is a direct exchange with Iran, which might drag the rest of NATO into a war designed to cause chaos and drain the last of its military stockpiles.

I suspect Starmer has had a Damascus Road moment and will not be sending the Royal Navy to the Hormuz. He's being guided by the recommendations - the Ten Commandments, if you like - of the Chilcott Report on the 2003 Iraq War. Dry, lawyerly and completely waterproof: British polling backs him up on this. The French have a Defence Pact with UAE so we may see some ineffectual, out-of- harms-way manoeuvres by the Charles De Gaulle - the carrier, not the corpse, the French are not stupid.

I sincerely hope so.

"You can mine the Strait of Hormuz, apparently, from a jetski"

Not quite but close. It's also worth considering you can say you've mined the Strait of Hormuz without even getting your feet wet. And all it takes is one detonation to make the claim "real".

"Yet the spice must flow" Sounds like something I heard on Arrakis... Another story about not f***ing around with Peoples who live in mud huts in the desert- Especially if you live in tall glass buildings.

In so many ways this is now Shrodinger's war. We are at war, but there's been no declaration of war. We are at war, but it's not a war the American people want, at all. It is Trumps war. We are at war, but there is no actual war plan. We are at war, but there's no way to win. We are at war, but it will no doubt hurt us all. That is the nature of war anyway.

Government by TruthSocial posts isn't flying, the Chinese know trump is senile, irrational, and barely comprehending of the trouble he's in, and they'll just sit back and wait for a more authoritative voice coming out of DC, whenever that is, if ever.

China can bring the world economy back with solar power and batteries. It will take time. But that's not as bad an outcome as it appears
