When Your Prime Minister’s Gaslighting Your Country… By Scapegoating Your Kids… Is It Rock Bottom Yet?

It’s disgraceful for a country to be this, well, LOL, foolish. But every day…sigh…Britain outdoes itself. The way that I think about now is that Britain is basically a Red State.

Remember the look that Joe Biden gave Rishi Sunak — or didn’t give him, but rather, gave the world about him, because he’d barely even look him in the eyes? Son, are you a fool? Because you’re laying waste to your own country’s future. Come on, man. America doesn’t want anything to do with you. We’re trying to build a future over here, and we don’t want to be part of your self-inflicted humiliation. Every American knows that look. The world recognized it. But Sunak? He just kept on grinning, waiting for some kind of praise, from an American President who regards him somewhere between a slug and a bit of dung on one’s shoe.

But Britain’s leaders keep doing it. Sunak’s latest…mistake? He proudly announced that every kid needs to study a lot more math. That’s why Britain’s economy isn’t growing. The media didn’t cover this the way it should have been covered.

What is going on here is something not just foolish, but disgusting — hence, Biden’s look, which proves, every day, to be truer than the last. The Prime Minister of Britain is scapegoating the country’s kids for his party’s own catastrophic, utterly calamitous, historic mistakes.

Think about how vulgar and repellent that is. Scapegoating kids. Now, this might not sound like a lot, but you should see it the way that I do: an example of where human folly ends. What happens when a country turns far right. Like Britain has. Where does it all end?

With..things like…innocent kids…becoming scapegoats…abused by almost-billionaire Prime Ministers…who use them to deflect from their own painfully stupid mistakes. Gross is an understatement.

You know why Britain’s economy isn’t growing. Everyone does, at least everyone outside Britain’s Iron Curtain of delusion, hate, and ignorance does. The reasons are incredibly simple. The conservatives inflicted modern history’s most vicious austerity program, which savaged basic public goods like the NHS and BBC. Living standards began to fall. They blamed all that on Europeans — LOL — and thus got their third and last wish. Brexit. Which has now caused the sharpest decline in living standards, trade, growth, all of it, in modern history.

The reasons Britain’s economy isn’t growing are dead simple. They were written all over Biden’s face. That look of pain, at someone else’s folly. Austerity. Brexit. And now? No plan for the future, except, LOL, more of both.

But to blame all that on kids? It’s breathtaking. It’s an illustration of how nations fail.

They fall prey to vicious cycles. Fanatics seduce people with Big Lies. About scapegoats. Those Big Lies lead nations into self-made catastrophe. More scapegoats must be found. Catastrophe deepens into calamity, because of course blaming some poor innocent for your problems hardly solves them. Think about how all this has played out in Britain — and is now reaching incredibly, shockingly dire proportions. Europeans were blamed for the consequences of austerity — falling living standards for “real Brits.” Thus, taught to hate Europe, Britain Brexited. But Brexit didn’t solve the problem — it only made it dramatically, incredibly worse. Now, living standards are in free-fall, and prices are skyrocketing. If you think inflation’s high in America, it’s twice as much in Britain — meanwhile, basics like eggs and vegetables are in shortage in ways Americans would find hard to grasp, as in, they’re actually rationed at supermarkets.

Where does this cycle lead?

You can see it very, very clearly. More scapegoats must be found. More and more. So there’s the Home Secretary — the equivalent of the Secretary of State — who began by attacking refugees in ways that drew comparisons with…the Holocaust. Then she started in on…British people, only minorities, from subgroups that “real Brits” are now supposed to hate. You can see the search for scapegoats expanding dramatically. And now these maniacs, these hateful lunatics…are blaming kids…for their own stupid mistakes. Kids.
