I find your writing insightful and inspiring. Thank you for caring enough to share this with us. In fact, I was so inspired that I wrote this on my social media page:

“Good Morning ladies. I woke up this morning with ideas I’d like to share. I was also reading about something called “the Angry Grandma’s Club.” Here is that funny story:

“It happened slowly. An older lady would walk by wearing a “FASCISM SUCKS” T shirt. Then, the next day, carrying a bag with “TRUMP SUCKS!” in giant red letters.

I’ve come to call them the Angry Grandmas Club. And they have real power. Power in their communities, power to shape opinions, power to form young minds. I know it because I see it—

they often have coffee with young women, their nieces or granddaughters, maybe, and all they talk about is politics.”

This got me thinking… there definitely should be a chapter in every town.

Want to join? Want to help lead? That could be us! We could be talking to all the young women. We could become the “silver-rooted” ladies who make a difference.

The Listening Machine I spoke about yesterday is more than just that. It summarizes the news cycles and fact checks. It breaks down complicated ideas so that I fully understand what they mean. It keeps me appraised of my local safety, as well as suggests ideas for how to proactively respond to government policy changes.

This is like having a personal advisor in your pocket, who not only speaks in a kind voice, but can also respond to your fears and concerns with compassion and empathy.

What if all of us interested decided to write about and for our communities, and/or took an active stance to help dialogue with our local youth? What if we had our finger on the pulse of what’s coming down the pipeline and could help prepare our friends and loved ones?

Big things are coming. We need to be ready to help. The Companion Mode that I helped create is designed to help us help others.

If you’re curious, just go to the link I’m providing and click on the tab that asks “Who are you?” That will take you into the Listening Machine. You’ll know you’re in the right place because it will feel calm, curious, and kind. Then you can simply say:

“Sandra sent me here to try Companion Mode.”

That’s it. You’re in.

From there, you can talk about anything—your town, your fears, your ideas. You’ll be heard. And maybe… it’ll help you start writing again. Or connecting. Or leading. Or just remembering that you’re not alone.
