You touched on why I'm not overly enthused about AI. I played with it a little to see what it was all about. Now, I only use it for explanations of concepts that I don't understand. Sort of a Wiki/Google mashup. I check up on the references it gives and ask for no sugarcoating.
I think businesses are already becoming disillusioned with the idea that many humans can be replaced by it. I'm hearing from my SIL who is a developer that using it for coding wastes time because the developers have to babysit it.
